One of the few cordless battery pole-saws in production, the Zomax DP551 has been built to professional specifications, and offers a level of power and performance that will impress even the most vehement advocates of the internal combustion engine!
Producing that powerful performance is a premium 58v battery pack, which, thanks to its cutting-edge lithium-ion cell technology, excels in terms of runtimes, charge times and longevity. The battery is available separately, and can be used with every machine in the Zomax 58v range (2Ah version recommended).
The Zomax DP551 Long-Reach Cordless Tree Pruner measures a substantial 2.5m in length, so you’ll be able to lop and cutback all but the very highest branches without resorting to platforms or ladders.
A super-efficient Permanent Magnet two-brush DC motor works to minimise battery drain rate; an optimised centre of gravity combines with a low-weight build (6.5kg) to make it easy to control and manoeuvre.
This model is topped by a compact 20cm chainsaw head with automatic chain lubrication.
