Delivering that superior cutting-capability via a high-torque brushless motor is a premium lithium-ion battery pack that won’t drain when not being used; and which offers improved runtimes, charge-times and durability compared to lower-spec ni-cad and lead-acid cells*.
The versatile SBC 700 D AE 48v Cordless Brushcutter comes with two cutter heads; a twin-line head for tidying lawn edges and fence lines; and a three-tooth metal blade that will tear through tall weeds and well-established bramble.
A bump-feed system means you can advance the cord by simply tapping the line head on the ground; while Stiga’s provision of a pro-grade ‘bike’ (or ‘cowhorn’) handlebar ensures the best possible control, and makes the SBC 700 D AE a great choice for verges and ditch banks.
Super-smooth-running and weighing almost half that of comparable petrol models, the SBC 700 D AE 48v Cordless Brushcutter ticks all the boxes when it comes to comfort and ease of use. A double shoulder strap (included) and backpack battery harness (optional) contribute further to user-comfort.
Additional features include a handy keypad containing the on/off switch and displaying battery-status info; a robust, corrosion-resistant magnesium crankcase; and five harness hooks for achieving a safe working-position on slopes.
