These cutting-edge 50cc overhead-cam (OHC) units trump similarly rated two-stroke motors on every consideration, including fuel economy, smoothness of operation and emission output.
A transistorised-magneto ignition system means consistently dependable starting under all conditions; a pressure-driven lubrication system keeps wear and tear at bay for an extended service life.
The Mountfield BC 450 HD 4-Stroke Petrol Brushcutter is fitted with a vibration-isolated, ‘bike’-style handlebar, which spares your hands and arms from strain, and ensures a comfortable and controlled left/right ‘sweeping’ action (the controls are conveniently incorporated into the hand grip).
It’s supplied with a line head and a metal brush blade, so it can be adapted to suit the nature of the task facing you, and it’s constructed around a large, 26mm-diameter shaft, which confers superior robustness and longevity.
