Gardeners seeking a quiet, fume- and hassle-free way to maintain shrubs and hedges should take a look at the high-specification, lithium-ion battery-powered Stiga SHT 700 AE Cordless Hedgetrimmer!

Stiga’s new-generation 48v Li-Ion batteries provide true petrol-matching performance and offer longer run-times and speedier charge-times that cells employing less advanced ni-cad or lead-acid technologies. In addition, they won’t drain when not in use, which means they’ll always be ready for action*.

The Stiga SHT 700 AE Cordless Hedgetrimmer has been equipped with a pair of fast-working 63cm double-sided hardened-steel blades that have been laser-cut for precision results; and which boast an extra-wide 34mm tooth-pitch that ensures it will take older, larger-diameter growth in its stride.

A soft-grip handle helps to prevent blisters and lessens hand- and arm-strain by minimising vibration-transfer; a five-position, 180°-adjustable rear handle makes it possible to achieve the most ergonomic angle of attack for the particular hedge you’re trimming.

The blade-tip protector on the Stiga SHT 700 AE prevents damage when working close to hard surface, and benefits from a handy hanging-eye, which enables tidy, wall-mounted storage.

One of the lightest hedgetrimmers on the market, this model weighs just 4.6kg (excluding battery).
