The super-efficient air-cooled two-stroke engine on the Echo CS-2511TESC Top-Handle Petrol Chainsaw produces a muscular 1.5hp from a displacement of just 25cc and combines a digital CDI with a primer pump and ES-Start to make the starting process fast and almost effort-free – important when undertaking in-tree applications.
Also noteworthy regarding the engine is its G-Force pre-cleaner, which prevents key part being subjected to premature wear and tear; and its grip-assist oil/fuel filler caps, which can be fitted and removed with gloved hands. In addition, accessing the air filter is totally straightforward; no tools required.
The Echo CS-2511TESC Top-Handle Petrol Chainsaw benefits from a fast-access side-screw chain tensioner, which ensures making those essential in-the-field adjustments couldn’t be quicker or simpler.
Its sleek design and carefully considered handle configuration make it easy to wield in space-restricted situations; its quick-stop, inertia-activated chain brake protects the user should a tooth catch a knotty bit of wood and cause the saw to ‘kick back’ (a chain catcher further enhances operator safety).
