At its core is a high-output 48v Stiga lithium-ion battery-pack that trumps older ni-cad and lead-acid models in terms of both charge- and runtimes, and which is compatible with all machines in Stiga’s 48v cordless range*.
A versatile machine, the Stiga SBC 700 AE Cordless Brushcutter comes with a 38cm twin-line head for strimming, edging and small-scale mowing; and an aggressive 25.5cm four-tooth metal brush-blade you can fit should the going get particularly tough (the line-head benefits from a handy bump-feed mechanism).
Stiga have kept machine-weight down to only 4.7kg, and have equipped it with an adjustable soft-grip ‘D-loop’ handle; a combination that facilitates long periods of low-effort landscaping; and they’ve employed a high-spec brushless motor that’s characterised by its powerful torque, low-noise operation, excellent energy efficiency and superior longevity.
Also featured is a shoulder harness, which further enhances comfort and ease of use; and a magnesium gearbox, which ensures season after season of unfailing performance.
