This flagship 48v cordless hedgetrimmer from Stiga produces power-levels equivalent to those of a high-performance petrol machine, but without the associated problems: noise, vibration, fumes, weight and starting.
Delivering that petrol-equivalent power are two, range-topping 7.5Ah lithium-ion battery packs, which utilise new-generation cell technology developed in-house by Stiga in Italy. The batteries give an impressive 180-minute runtime, and will maintain a constant output until the moment the charge runs out*.
The extra-long 65cm blades on the Stiga HT 900e 48v Cordless Hedgetrimmer are double sided for a fast lateral 'sweeping' action, and have been laser-cut, not only for stunning results, but also to ensure they remain sharp and effective over time.
A twist-grip rear-handle allows you to adjust the working-angle to avoid adopting an unnatural body position when tackling awkward hedges; an innovative electronic keypad proves info on battery status, and puts speed control at your fingertips.
The professional-grade Stiga HT 900e 48v Battery Hedgetrimmer incorporates a quick-stop blade brake, which halts the transmission the moment the trigger is released, thereby optimising operator-safety.
A 40mm tooth-spacing – one of the widest on hedgetrimmers of any type – facilitates the management of gnarly, large-diameter growth (up to 33mm); a sound-output of just 80.8 dB (A) means you won’t irritate nearby neighbours.
