Understand the machine before ordering.

Discerning gardeners looking for a fast and convenient way to keep a substantial lawn in-check will be impressed by this high-performance, 51cm-cut machine from Swedish garden-machinery experts, Stiga!

Essential to its superb cutting-capability is its Stiga ST 170 engine; a rigorously tested and super-efficient four-stroke unit that develops a muscular 3.5hp from a relatively compact 166cc cylinder displacement; and which benefits from Stiga’s noise- and vibration-limiting overhead-valve technology. Autochoke makes the ignition process quick and simple.

The Stiga Combi 753 S 4-in-1 Self-Propelled Petrol Lawnmower has a power-drive that works with extra-large 280mm grooved-tread rear wheels to ensure the sort of inclines and rough, tussocky areas that would defeat a lesser machine are easily traversed.

It runs on ball-bearing wheels that won’t stiffen-up with age, as can be the case with cheaper bush-mounted wheels; and it comes equipped with a large 70-litre-capacity grassbag – with ‘catcher full’ indicator – that helps to cut mowing-time by reducing the number frequency of emptying-stops.

Also mulch-, rear-discharge- and side-discharge-capable - and giving the choice of six preset cutting-heights (28-92mm) - the Stiga Combi 753 S 4-in-1 Self-Propelled Petrol Lawnmower can be set-up to achieve great results whatever conditions you’re working under.

A galvanised steel mower-deck brings superior strength and durability; a washing-link – whereby you can attach a hosepipe to the deck – means rotting clippings can be sluiced from the undercarriage with zero fuss and bother.

The high-specification features don’t finish there – you’ll also get Stiga’s new soft-grip fulcrum handlebar, which is both height- and laterally-adjustable; and folds over the machine itself to minimise its storage footprint (the collector can be detached and placed tidily on the collapsed handlebar).
