The Spectrum DM435MT replaces a shed full of separate machines with a single 43cc petrol power unit and four quick-change attachments — a grass trimmer, a brushcutter, a long-reach hedge trimmer and a pole pruner. It is the practical way to keep lawns, borders, hedges, overgrown ground and trees in shape without buying, storing and servicing four different tools.

At the heart of the machine is a reliable 43cc two-stroke engine that delivers the torque needed for heavy going while staying light enough to handle comfortably all day. An ergonomic loop handle and a single-shoulder harness spread the load and keep the tool balanced with every attachment fitted, so you stay in control and feel less fatigue on longer jobs.

When grass turns to scrub, switch to the 25.5cm three-tooth metal blade. It shears through dense weeds, nettles, brambles and established growth that would stop a trimmer line dead, making light work of reclaiming neglected corners.

Long-reach hedge trimmer

Maintain tall hedges safely from the ground — no ladders required. The 40cm dual-action blade with 25mm tooth spacing cuts thicker, mature growth cleanly, and the 180° adjustable head angles to trim the tops and sides of a hedge in comfort.

Pole pruner

Take down high and overhanging branches while keeping both feet firmly on the ground. The 25cm chainsaw bar cuts efficiently and an automatic oiler keeps the chain lubricated for smooth running and longer chain life.

Important — chain oil: the pole pruner uses a gravity-fed lubrication system, so lubricate the chain with 10W30 lawnmower engine oil (or an equivalent light engine oil). Do not use standard chainsaw chain oil — its higher viscosity is intended for pressure-fed systems and is too thick to flow correctly here.
