The New Zealand-built Masport 200 ST L is one of the best quality, petrol-powered, push-type lawnmowers available today. It’s been built to last, boasts high-specification features throughout and offers hard to beat manoeuvrability.
The Masport 200 ST L Hand-Propelled Petrol Lawnmower has substantial wheels, which run on double ball bearings – the result is a smooth backwards and forwards motion that seriously reduces the amount of effort required to get around the lawn.
As with all Masport mowers, the 200 ST L has a spring-loaded, single-point adjuster, which enables you to change the height of cut quickly and with zero effort (the range is from 10 to 63mm).
Its roomy 46-litre fabric grass catcher really packs in the cuttings, and is collapsible for space saving storage; its Comfort Start technology means you’ll be able to tug on the starter rope from a standing position, rather than having to bend over the machine.
This mid-sized 46cm model benefits from a throttle control, so you’ll be able to up the revs when tackling particularly long, thick grass, and then lower them to save fuel when operating in less challenging conditions.
Other features include an efficient and dependable 123cc Loncin engine; and an Operator Presence Control, which optimises safety by stopping the engine – and therefore the blade – when the bail arm is released.
