Powering the easily manageable 33cm cutting-gear on the Echo CS-4310SX Petrol Chainsaw is a medium-displacement 42.9cc two-stroke low-emission engine that outputs a sizeable 2.5hp, and which, thanks to Echo’s Easy Start system, requires only a gentle pull on the recoil rope to fire-up.
A multi-stage filtration system with a G-Force pre-cleaner extends the life of key engine-parts by limiting their exposure to damaging debris particulates; a diaphragm-type carburettor ensures peak performance is consistently maintained by continuously optimising the fuel/air mixture.
So as to ensure you can be confident in terms of operational safety, Echo have equipped the CS-4310SX with a fast acting chain brake, which kicks-in instantly when inertia is detected (a chain catcher further enhances user safety).
It features auto/adjustable chain-oiling for a smooth, low-temperature cut and superior flexibility of use; and it benefits from a no-tools air filter cover for hassle-free replacement/cleaning when you’re in the field.
Further attributes include a side-access chain tensioner, which makes adjustment quick and easy; a digital CDI for rapid acceleration and a smooth idle; and dropout-prevention nuts, which are designed to prevent loss.
