Understand the machine before ordering.

If the idea of an ultra-manoeuvrable, joystick-steered electric ride-on mower capable of performing 360° on-the-spot turns appeals, this cutting-edge machine from Swedish garden-machinery innovators, Stiga, ticks all the boxes!

The Stiga Gyro 700e’s zero-turn capability is down to its independently controlled Direct Drive motors. Thanks to these, you’ll be able to realign rapidly at the end of each pass, and you’ll enjoy a level of speed control, directional control and responsiveness that’s impossible to get from a conventional ride-on mower.

With an expansive 108cm cutting-width, a zippy top speed of 12km/h and a long-running 64 amp-hour (48v) lithium battery, the fast-working and highly productive Stiga Gyro 700e Electric Axial Ride-On Mower will cover up to 8000m2 on a single charge.

Three operating-modes – Eco; Standard; Boost – allow you to adapt to any situation you might encounter; a cleverly designed ‘cockpit’ – with LED dashboard and ideally positioned controls – puts the driver ‘at one’ with the machine.

Both mulch- and side-discharge-capable, the Stiga Gyro 700e ‘Drive-by-Wire’ Electric Zero-Turn Ride-On performs just as well on overgrown meadow grass as it does across regularly mown fine lawns.

It combines an ergonomic high-back seat with plenty of legroom and dual parallel suspensions to ensure optimum driver-comfort; and it boasts a washout port, which makes the task of clearing corrosive, performance-limiting detritus from the underside of the cutter-deck a breeze.

Tested beyond industry standards for slope work, the Gyro 700e can, due to its low stance, ideal centre of gravity and intelligent electronics, operate on inclines up to 32°, although Stiga suggest gradients beyond 15° are avoided.

The motors on this model are brushless, so you can expect impressive torque and superior longevity.
