That power is supplied by a 25.4cc Stiga two-stroke air-cooled engine that produces a hefty 1.4hp; and which combines a high-spec analogic coil with a manual fuel primer to ensure ultra-reliable starting.
A spacious 0.45-litre fuel tank minimises the frequency of top-up stops, which in turn provides increased productivity; a premium, paper-sponge air filter effectively prevents debris ingress, thereby extending the working-life of key components.
The Stiga BC 730 Petrol Brushcutter comes as standard with a twin-line strimmer head and an aggressive three-tooth metal blade, so you can fit the one that best suits the application - the line head for post-mowing tidying; the brush blade for heavier-duty vegetation clearance*.
Supplied with a shoulder harness and blending an ergonomically optimised loop-and-bar soft-grip handle with Stiga’s tried and tested anti-vibration measures, the BC 730 will sit comfortably in the hands for as long as it takes to get the job done.
* The supplied 43cm line head has the largest cutting-swathe to be found on any domestic-use brushcutter
