If maintaining your lawn with a walk-behind mower has become too much like hard work, and too time consuming, then the compact, 66cm, Alpina AT2 66 QA Ride-On Mower provides the ideal solution! You may recognise this machine as being similar to a Mountfield 827M, MTF 66 MQ and the Stiga Combi 166.
Powering the Alpina AT2 66 QA is a beefy, 8.4hp, single-cylinder engine with an overhead-valve formation - you can be confident of high-performance operation, low fuel costs and superior dependability. An electric key starter does away with the need to pull repeatedly on a starter rope.
The Alpina AT2 66 QA has a narrow, 66cm cutting-width and a turning circle of only 140cm; a combination meaning tight corners and obstacles can be easily negotiated. Alpina’s provision of four forward speeds (plus one reverse) further aids manoeuvrability.
The aerodynamic, high-vacuum cutter deck on the Alpina AT2 66 QA guarantees optimum performance in terms of both collection efficiency and quality of cut. It can be raised and lowered through seven stages (30 to 80mm) to suit the both prevailing grass conditions, and the type of lawn finish required for the particular area you’re working on.
To ensure you’ll be able to get the job done in quick time, this practical and convenient machine has been fitted with a spacious, 150-litre grassbag. The bag can be emptied from the driver’s seat and is equipped with an audible ‘collector full’ warning to help prevent blockages.
Where conditions suit, you can remove the collector and fit the optional mulch plug or side-discharge chute.
This AT2 66 QA's rear-engine design provides excellent forward visibility, allowing you to cut with precision along borders and around trees and shrubs.
The steering is light, the controls are all ergonomically positioned, and the seat has a sprung suspension, so it couldn’t be more comfortable to use.
This model is covered by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty, and is suitable for use across lawns up to around 2000m2.
