Delivering the powerful performance characterising the Stiga HT 100e Cordless Hedgetrimmer is a latest-generation, European-developed 20v (2Ah) lithium-ion battery that gives an ample 40-minute runtime; and which is free of the memory effect and self-discharge problems that inevitably come with inferior ni-cad and lead-acid units.
The absence of a mains cable means you’ll enjoy absolute freedom of movement; dual safety-switching ensures unintentional activation is practically impossible.
The Stiga HT 100e Cordless Battery Hedgetrimmer is fitted with a pair of expansive 55cm, hardened-steel blades, which are double-sided for speedy left/right trimming; and laser-cut for a super-sharp edge and a clean cut with no damage to the subject-plant (the tooth spacing is a sizeable 25mm).
A twist-grip rear handle – adjustable through 180° facilitates low-effort multi-angle cutting; an operating-level of just 75.4dB (A) makes for a more comfortable working-environment for both you and your neighbours.
Also of note is the blade-tip guard, which prevents contact damage from hard surfaces (wall, floors, etc.).
This model weighs 2.2kg and has vibration levels of 0.8m/2; a combination that makes it far easier to handle than any comparable petrol chainsaw.
