Supplying true petrol-matching power is a premium 48v (4Ah) Stiga-designed lithium-ion battery pack that employs the industry’s latest cell technology, and which outdoes older lead-acid and nickel-cadmium units on every level - you’ll get more charge cycles, faster charge-times and longer runtimes*.
Also worth noting with Stiga’s lithium batteries is the absence of spontaneous discharge. This means the charge won’t drain during storage, thereby enabling you to pick-up where you left off at any time.
The Stiga PR 700e 48v Cordless Chainsaw benefits from a manoeuvrability-optimising top-handle design, which works with its lightweight build (3.5kg) and compact overall dimensions to make it easy to wield when up in the canopy.
Stiga’s employment of a top-quality in-house-manufactured bar and chain ensures excellent cutting-performance; their provision of a quick-stop chain brake - both manually- and inertia-activated - confers optimal operator-safety (a ⅜” chain pitch contributes further to safety by minimising kick-back tendency).
Other key features include automatic chain oiling for a clean, smooth, low-temperature cut; a brushless motor, which offers greater torque, superior energy efficiency and improved longevity when compared to same-class brushed units; and a high-spec magnesium transmission, which cools rapidly and resists moisture.
This model is suitable for use only by operators trained for in-tree work.
