Supplying the high-torque transmission with a muscular 1.4hp is a compact and lightweight 25.4cc Stiga air-cooled two-stroke engine with a butterfly-valve carburettor for optimum speed- and power-management; and a quality sponge/paper air filter for superior long-term reliability.
A fuel primer and analogic digital coil blend to make the ignition process fast and hassle-free; a generous 0.45-litre fuel tank works with the engine’s efficient design to deliver a marked cut in downtime compared to less well-equipped machines.
The Stiga BC 730 B Petrol Brushcutter has a professional ‘cowhorn’ handlebar, a soft grip and a single-shoulder harness; a combination that ensures it offers the very best in manoeuvrability, safety and comfort.
It’s built around a large-diameter shaft (24mm), which confers rugged durability; and it’s supplied with a tool kit that contains all the bits and bobs required for routine maintenance.
This model comes with an extra-wide 43cm bump-feed line head for strimming; and a sharp-edged 25.5cm tri-arc metal blade for brushcutting.
