For small urban, suburban and village gardens, the Spectrum TG32E is a compact, capable electric mower that makes light work of the weekly cut. It pairs a genuinely quiet motor with the kind of features usually reserved for pricier machines, so you get a tidy, even finish without the noise, fumes or fuss of a petrol mower.

At its heart is a robust 1300W induction motor. Built for a long, dependable service life, it delivers strong cutting power while running noticeably more quietly than a conventional motor — and as a mains-electric mower it produces zero emissions and asks almost nothing in the way of maintenance. There is no fuel to mix, no oil to change and no cord to pull.

The 32cm cutting width is ideally judged for tighter lawns, trimming the time spent going up and down without becoming unwieldy around borders and beds. Cutting height adjusts across six positions from 25mm to 75mm, set independently on each axle — so you can raise the front higher than the rear to boost airflow under the deck and lift collection performance when the grass is long or damp.

Clippings drop into a lightweight 30-litre hard-top collector that lifts out and empties in seconds, keeping mowing quick and clean. Twin ergonomic control levers sit comfortably to hand, and a safety-release switch brings the blade to a stop within seconds the moment you let go.

When the job is done, the upper handle folds flat for compact storage and easier carrying, helped by a built-in carry handle, while large, smooth-rolling wheels make the mower effortless to guide across the lawn. A generous 15-metre power cable gives plenty of reach around a smaller garden, and the whole machine tips the scales at just 10kg.
