Understand the machine before ordering.

Combining powerful performance with superior, design-optimised ergonomics, this semi-pro-grade petrol brushcutter from Mountfield is ideal for clearing heavily overgrown areas of grass, nettles, weeds, scrub and bramble.

The 35cc, four-stroke Honda engine on the Mountfield BC 435 H 4-Stroke Brushcutter produces fewer unburned hydrocarbons and fewer nitrous oxides than a standard two-stroke motor. It therefore provides a safer and more pleasant working environment for the operator.

Four-stroke power packs also offer more convenience and improved comfort - there's no fuel/oil mixture to prepare, starting is far easier and noise levels are drastically reduced, with the latter attribute making them much easier on the ear, and ensuring your work is less disruptive to the surrounding environment.

A further advantage is that four-cycle engines produce minimal vibrations compared to their two-stroke counterparts, thereby allowing you to carry on for longer before fatigue sets in. Operating costs are also lower with four-stroke, as fuel and oil costs are cut significantly.

Maintenance costs are also lessened, with fewer replacement parts being needed over the product's lifetime.

Coming in at just 7kg and outputting a hefty 1.3hp, the Mountfield BC 435 H 4-Stroke Petrol Brushcutter is hard to beat in terms of power to weight ratio.

Mountfield’s inclusion of a twin-line trimmer head – with bump feed – and a three-tooth metal blade confers flexibility of use; their provision of a shoulder strap makes what’s already a comfortable machine even more so.

Also of note on the Mountfield BC 435 H 4-Stroke Petrol Brushcutter is a 23mm-diameter internal driveshaft, which means unwavering dependability over time; and a ‘loop-and-bar’-type handle for the best in control and manoeuvrability.
